Liverpool have rejected a €12.5m (£11m) bid from Napoli for left-back Alberto Moreno.
Sevilla and two unnamed Premier League clubs are also interested in signing Moreno.
Liverpool value Moreno at £15m and are unwilling to let him leave for less than that figure.
Moreno, who Liverpool bought from Sevilla for £12m three years ago, lost his place in the starting XI to James Milner last season.
Napoli’s move is expected to be the first of numerous bids for the player, which explains why Liverpool are sure they can receive maximum value for him
Moreno made just two starts in the Premier League last season, as he was not favoured by manager Jurgen Klopp.
He made 18 appearances in all competitions — 10 of which came from the substitutes’ bench — throughout the 2016-17 campaign.
