Juventus may turn their attention to Paris Saint-Germain enforcer Blaise Matuidi in a bid to bolster their midfield for next term, reports Tuttosport.

The France international has just one year left on his current contract at the Parc des Princes and an extension has not yet been offered.

As such, Matuidi offers a cheaper alternative to Juve’s other transfer target, Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi.

Matuidi, who had agreed to join the Serie A champions already last summer, was blocked in the end from doing so by PSG President Nasser Al Khelaifi.

Manchester United are monitoring Matuidi’s situation, but have yet to take concrete steps in terms of preparing a formal bid.
