Lyon have completed the signing of Le Havre defender Ferland Mendy on a five-year deal, the Ligue 1 club have announced.
360Nobs understood Crystal Palace, West Brom, Brighton and Birmingham were interested in signing the 22-year-old.
However, Lyon have won the race to secure his signature, with the left-back committing his future to the club until 2022
Mendy was pretty much ever-present for Le Havre last season, starting 34 of the 35 league matches he appeared in, contributing two goals and five assists in the process.
