French forward Valere Germain has joined Marseille on a four-year contract from Monaco, OM said on Monday.
The 27-year-old Germain, whose father Bruno played for OM, scored 10 goals in Ligue 1 last season, helping Monaco win the French title.
Valere Germain has spent the majority of his career with Monaco, but had a brief spell on loan at Nice in 2015-2016.
Germain played second fiddle to Radamel Falcao and teenage-sensation Kylian Mbappe over the course of the 2016-17 campaign and will likely be hoping the move leads to more first-choice opportunities at Marseille.
