West Ham United are considering making a bid for Arsenal forward Theo Walcott this summer as a report claims he is frustrated at the Emirates.
Theo Walcott has hardly featured for the Gunners since Arsene Wenger switched to a 3-5-2 system during the latter stages of last season, and the Mirror reports that he could now seek a fresh challenge as he looks to get back into the England squad for next summer’s World Cup.
He harbours dreams of making the England squad for the World Cup next summer, and knows that will be an impossible dream if he is a regular substitute at Arsenal.
He is not the only Gunners forward being talking about as a potential big-money West Ham target this summer, with Olivier Giroud also on the Irons’ radar, and they were prepared to offer him a contract worth £100,000 a week.
Meanwhile, Manuel Lanzini is set for a bumper new contract that would bring him in line with West Ham’s top earners.
