At least eight persons have been feared dead with 14 others injured after a suicide bomb attack in Dikwa Local Government Area of Borno on Friday night.
It was gathered that the incident occurred in the late hours of Friday when two female suicide bombers hit an Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camp in the area.

Speaking to newsmen in Maiduguri on Saturday about the incident, the Chairman of the council, Alhaji Rawa Modu, said that the suicide bombers infiltrated into the camp and detonated explosives.
“Two female suicide bombers attacked the 24 Housing estate at about 9: 30 p.m on Friday.
“Seven persons died on the spot and one other died in the hospital, while 14 other persons were receiving treatment at the Specialist Hospital, Maiduguri,” he said during a visit to some of the victims of the incident.
Modu said that the council had distributed metal detectors to members of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) to enhance security at the camp.
