Floyd Mayweather came in lighter at the weigh-in, as Conor McGregor weighed 3.5 pounds heavier ahead of their much anticipated cross-code fight.
The Irish UFC superstar came in at 153 pounds, with veteran boxer, Mayweather weighing 149.5 pounds.
Mayweather had suggested McGregor would find it hard to make the limit, but the MMA star promised to come in close to 170 pounds.
The 40-year-old boxer has also dismissed the added weight is an advantage.
“Weight doesn’t win fights,” he said. “Fighting wins fights.
“This will be Conor McGregor’s last fight also. The fans can’t fight for you.”
McGregor was in a typically energetic mood, skipping across the stage before hitting the scales.
The pair then went face to face with the 29-year-old having plenty to say before giving a quick interview.
“I am a supreme professional,” he said. “I am in peak condition. I will come in a lot bigger than him; I’d say around 170lbs.
“There is a saying, you will never beat the Irish! Where we go, we roll in and take over. Las Vegas is Ireland now!”
