Peter Bosz is not blaming his defenders for the loss against Madrid and is blaming the whole team for the slack defending.

Bale scored a stunning volley in the first half, before Ronaldo scored a brace after the break, as Madrid won for the first time at the Signal Iduna Park.

Aubameyang pulled one back for the hosts and though Bosz’s men attacked, Burki’s heroics between the sticks prevented the scoreline from looking worse.

Bosz insists his side attacks as a team and defends as a team and will not blame only the defenders, believing Madrid were a step ahead of them.

“We defend with 11 players and we attack with 11 players. You cannot blame the defence,” he told SID.

“Against a very good opponent, who made almost no mistakes, we always were a step late.

“We need to defend better. We couldn’t pressure the ball in nearly every moment of the game. That’s what makes it hard against such opposition, who have quality. We have to analyse this and improve.”
