West Ham manager David Moyes has demanded more of the same from Marko Arnautovic after the West Ham winger finally began repaying some of his club-record transfer fee.

Austria international Marko Arnautovic, the £24m signing from Stoke, had been made a scapegoat for West Ham’s desperate start to the season.

But the 28-year-old was clapped from the pitch having run himself into the ground during the 1-1 draw with Leicester on Friday Night Football.

And Moyes said: “I thought he was very good. He’s shown the other side of the game that he knows he has to do.

“He also delivered one or two very good crosses and you wouldn’t want to play against him when he plays like that.

“He was very good and he knows he has to keep that up. They’ve all got to do it now and I thought they all tried to the best of their ability, and Marko certainly did.”
