The month of January has gone and the second month of the year is here and this means a new set of TV shows will be making their way to our screens. If you are a fan of TV shows, you probably can’t wait for some of the shows on this list to return or for some new ones to make their debut.
Here are some of the shows that you will enjoy in February.
“Altered Carbon” – Netflix
The Season one of this show will make its debut on February 2. The plot of the story is based in a futuristic world where consciousness is digitized and humans can survive physical death by having their memories put into new bodies, a man is killed in a new body without the memory of who killed him. This sets of a reaction and a run to determine what went wrong.
You should actually find time to watch this TV show has Netflix seems quite excited about it. If the trailer is anything to go by, it should make an interesting watch.
“The Tick” (Amazon)
Season two of this show will premiere on February 28, even as our strange blue superhero returns. This show appears to be pretty underrated and it offers something different in a TV world filled with dark, emotionally draining dramas. While it is fun and easy on the eyes, it is also completely self-aware of its absurdity.
“Good Girls” – NBC
Christina Hendricks (“Mad Men”), Retta (“Parks and Recreation”) and Mae Whitman (“Parenthood”) all star in this suburban drama and play the role of mothers tired of trying to make ends meet. They soon commit a crime to solve their problems, but their crime creates more problems than it solves.
The cast is a pretty interesting one and it is exciting to say the least to watch a lady-centric “Breaking Bad”. The show also looks like it could be a lot of fun and we sure hope it lives up to its billing. The series is expected to premiere on the 26th of February.
The Looming Tower – Hulu
The Looming Tower is a miniseries that attempts to explain the story of the events that led to the 9/11 bombing of the world trade centre. The story follows the rising threat of Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda in the late 90s, and specifically, how the rivalry between the FBI and CIA may have led to the attacks.
The cast includes Jeff Daniels, Peter Sarsgaard, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Alec Baldwin. If you’re into digging deep and seeing things from a different perspective, you can watch the show, even though it’s probably not essential viewing. The series is expected to premiere on February 28.
