Real Madrid midfielder Marco Asensio believes Zinedine Zidane should continue as the club’s manager.
Zinedine Zidane, who guided Madrid to back-to-back Champions League titles in 2016 and 2017, has faced speculation over his future in recent months due to the Spanish capital club’s mixed domestic performances.
However, Asensio has backed the Frenchman to stay on in his role.
Speaking to Spanish radio show El Larguero, he said: “I think he has to continue, he has solved everything very well.
“He has shown [that] winning the league and Champions League. I think that the demand is very high and they forget things very quickly. I think he is the ideal manager.”
