The absence of Nigerian superstar, Wizkid at the world acclaimed arts and music festival, Coachella has made the event become high-point of discussion in Nigeria.
It is believed that Wizkid’s non-appearance at the event is a lost opportunity for African music at the a big global stage like Coachella.
Meanwhile, top Nigerian singer, Adekunle Gold has offered to represent Africa at the big Coachella stage, in 2019. The singer rolled out a tweet saying;
I want to play Coachella next year
I want to play Coachella next year.

However, there has been mixed reaction on whether the singer deserves the Coachella stage considering his impact in the area of urban high life music genre.
This one is a dreamer… no one wants to see artist like you there *sighs*
