Wolves are set to take up the option to buy Benik Afobe for a fee of £12.5m, allowing the Bournemouth striker to return to Molineux on a permanent deal.
Talks are at an advanced stage for Benik Afobe, who scored six goals in seven starts after signing on loan for the Championship winners in January. That loan deal included an option to buy the player on a permanent basis before the end of the loan agreement.
Bournemouth paid Wolves a then club record fee of £10m for Afobe in January 2016.
Now the 25-year-old is to be signed on a permanent deal for the Premier league campaign.
Wolves are also are set to complete the permanent signing of Willy Boly after activating their right to buy the French centre-back.
Boly was instrumental in Wolves’ promotion to the Premier League last season with a series of excellent displays on the left of Nuno Espirito Santo’s back three.
