Lyon have agreed to sell Nabil Fekir to Liverpool when the transfer window opens in a deal reported to worth be in the region of €70m (£61.7m) with add-ons included. However, following on from Lyon’s 3-0 victory over Troyes, Aulas poured cold water over claims Fekir would be moving when the season comes to an end: “No contact with Liverpool today. I am surprised by this news. There is no agreement in Nabil’s contract that provides for a departure. Simply, when he signed professional, I told his agent – with whom we have excellent relations and who is someone very reasoned – that the day that Nabil would like to leave, as I did with Alexandre Lacazette, Corentin Tolisso or Karim (Benzema) he could come to see me.” (Le10Sport)

The Spain international then turned his attention to Messi, claiming the Barcelona No 10 influenced the referee at half-time. “Messi put pressure on the referee in the tunnel at half-time,” he explained in his post-match interview. “I don’t know if there were cameras, and I don’t know if he would have made other decisions in the second half.” (AS)
