Everton have joined Manchester United in the race to sign Juventus youngster Grigoris Kastanos, reports the Daily Mirror.

The 18-year-old midfielder has been linked with a move away from the Serie A champions in recent weeks, with Jose Mourinho a reported admirer.

But the Mirror understands Toffees boss Ronald Koeman is also interested in the Cypriot and will fight to bring him to Goodison Park.

According to another report Manchester United spotted the midfielder at the Viareggio youth tournament earlier this year and they are keen to bring him to Old Trafford.

However, according to Tuttosport, Juventus are fighting hard to keep hold of Kastanos.

The Serie A side paid just £40,000 to sign the youngster from Enosis Neon Paralimni in 2014, but they will not let him go on the cheap.

The Italian champions have high hopes for the 18-year-old and he has already made his debut for Cyprus.
