Johanna Konta has continued her dominance over Venus Williams, beating her in the Miami Open semifinal, to be the first British woman to reach the final of the Miami Open.
Konta was just six when Venus won her first Miami Open, but the Brit won 6-4 7-5 to record her third straight victory against the American.
She’ll play Caroline Wozniacki in the final, for a chance to win her second Miami Open title.
Konta is back in the top 10 and could finish in 7th on the rankings, if she wins the tournament.
