Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has denied that the club have received any offers for striker Moussa Dembele amid speculation of a bid from Marseille.

“There’s nothing in it from our perspective. He’s a boy that’s very calm. And like I said, a young player still developing,” Rodgers said.

“I think there’ll be a natural solution to it all. I think there’ll be something at some point in his career here where there’s an offer that, for both parties, is a sensible one.

“But it’s certainly nowhere near that for us at this moment in time.”

Dembele scored 32 goals in 39 games for Celtic in his first season after arriving from Fulham for a compensation fee of £500,000.

With Rosenborg visiting Celtic Park on Wednesday for a Champions League qualifier, Dembele did not train, with Rodgers saying it was injury-related.
