Cardi B has made history after her “Bodak Yellow” officially made the No. 1 song in the country, beating out Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” on the Billboard Hot 100 this week.

In addition to dethroning the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer for the top slot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, the 24-year-old became the first female rapper to hit No. 1 on the Billboard charts without the assistance of any other artists in almost two decades with her debut hit “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves).”

According to Billboard, the last time such a feat happened in the rap world was a shocking 19 years ago, back in 1998, when a post-Fugees Lauryn Hill debuted “Doo Wop (That Thing)” and had the top spot for two weeks in November 1998.

While celebrating her top track at the Atlantic Records Headquarters in New York City, the Bronx-born beauty threw some subtle shade at Taylor, 27, thanking her fans before belting out the chorus of the singer’s revenge track with a cheeky grin.

Cardi sipped on pink champagne while thanking her die-hard fans and crew for getting her to number one in the clip caught by TMZ.

Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, has already racked up 88million listens on Spotify, with another 170million on YouTube.

Meanwhile, Swift’s comeback track Look What You Made Me Do slipped down to number three after a two week reign as number one, while Post Malone’s Rockstar debuted in the second spot.

Bodack Yellow is the Love And Hip Hop favorite’s first official release, following a string of mix tapes and collaborations.
