There are lots of television shows that we all had high expectations of but which unfortunately got the boot while some of the worst possible shows seem to get renewed time and time again for new seasons.

Even though we have little or no influence on if a show is renewed or cancelled, we still have the right to complain about the show’s that have ran for too long and which definitely needs to go.

Take a look at six television shows that really need to get the boot.

Grey’s Anatomy

Everybody loves Grey’s Anatomy because it has simple and sharp storylines we all can relate to. Grey’s Anatomy is a medical drama television series which is a major achievement for executive producer Shonda Rhimes who has leveraged on the success of the show to create new shows for ShondaLand empire.

With that been said, it’s seems obvious that Shonda Rhimes is getting a little bit tired of coming up with different ideas to keep Grey’s Anatomy running given the fact that her other shows such as How to Get Away with Murder is much more creative and innovative. Everybody is getting tired of the show and would appreciate it if the show is given a good ending now.

Fuller House

Fuller House is an American family sitcom and sequel to the 1987–1995 television series Full House, which will be airing as a Netflix original series. The series centers around D.J. Tanner-Fuller, a veterinarian and widowed mother of three sons, whose sister and best friend—the mother to a teenage daughter—provide support in her sons’ upbringings by moving in with her.

The revival of the show however seems ill-conceived given the fact that Full House lost its edge to criticisms and fan dislike. Despite this fact however, the show has been renewed for a second season which lays credence to the fact that television networks will renew a show provided people view it and not because they enjoy watching it.

Supernatural

Supernatural is an American fantasy horror television series created by Eric Kripke who has said his plan for the show was five seasons of good storytelling, then a natural end.

This makes it quite surprising that the show will go on and get renewed for its 12th season. One thing no one can take away from the show is its good run but the good run that made the show a fan favourite ended at about its 6th season.

Supernatural only seems to be repeating tired and overtly worn out storylines. It’s time to lay the show to rest.

Arrow

Arrow
Arrow is an American action television based on the DC Comics character Green Arrow, a costumed crime-fighter.

The show is lucky in that it shares similar storyline with other DC Comics characters in shows such as The Flash, Supergirl, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow which seems to always prop up the show and hide it’s failings.

This however doesn’t hide the fact that Arrow has a lot of unrealistic action sequences especially in its season 4. The show is practically overdoing and this may signal it’s cancellation, especially with the Television network CW coming up with new, alternative universes for the different heroes of the comic books to explore.

Fear the Walking Dead

Fear the Walking Dead is an American horror drama television series is a companion series and prequel to The Walking Dead, which is based on the comic book series of the same name.

For quite some time, The Walking Dead held viewers spellbound but the same can’t be said for its spinoff. The actors on the show appear quite boring asides from the emotions that Rick, Carol and Glenn seem to exude in huge proportions.

If we add the fact that zombies always seem to be after humans and one or two of our favourites might end up falling prey, making living even more tedious for the survivors. The show really needs to go.

Wayward Pines

waywardpines
Wayward Pines is a mystery, science fiction television series that follows the story of Ethan Burke (Matt Dillon), a U.S. Secret Service agent investigating the disappearance of two fellow agents in the mysterious small town of Wayward Pines, Idaho. Executive producer of the show, M. Night Shyamalan has previously stated that he hopes the series will run for only 3 seasons which unfortunately gives us another season to whine about. Any mythology based show will have to do everything to keep viewers interested which is something Wayward Pines has lost.
