“I Used To Fight For Nigeria But Not Anymore” – Simi

Sensational Nigerian songstress, Simi has publicly declared her dissatisfaction about Nigerian government and the general situation of the country.

The singer put out a question on why the nation’s government system is so wrong that Nigerians are tired of their Nationality. She also cried about lack of value system in Nigeria.

How can a government be so wrong that most of the people are mentally exhausted and tired of being Nigerians? There is no value system. Hardly anyone to fight for the little guy. Only people that like to talk about what they want to do. Talk is dirt cheap.

According to Simi, she used to frown at people talking down on the nation but doesn’t seem to see any need for it anymore. In her tweet, she concluded that Nigerians deserve better.

 

I don’t talk about politics much, but it’s heartbreaking to see how broken many of us are. I used to fight people for talking down on Nigeria. But there’s hardly any basis for that fight anymore. We deserve better.
