Jupp Heynckes has urged Robert Lewandowski to focus on Bayern Munich amid fresh speculation linking the striker with Real Madrid.
The Poland international has reportedly been a target for Madrid since his time at Borussia Dortmund and it is claimed a move to the Bernabeu could materialise at the end of the season. But Heynckes says the 29-year-old must put such speculation to one side and concentrate on Bayern.
“Lewandowski must concentrate on Bayern,” he is quoted by Mundo Deportivo. “If we want to go far in the Champions League, it has to work in the offensive sector and it’s better not to be arguing about that (about a transfer).
“When you play at Bayern, you must be attentive to the maximum. I do not know if they are speculations or dreams, I do not have information about. But if you play at Bayern you cannot be distracted. There is no other club like Bayern.”
