Keylor Navas has backed Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid to achieve success this season, as he feels team is heading in the right direction.

After losing to Villarreal fc, Rafa Benitez’s men went 2-1 down against Rayo Vallecano and fans booed Cristiano Ronaldo and rest of the Real Madrid team, to which Portugal star reacted angrilybefore home side found their way back in the game to earn astonishing 10-2 win at the end.

A Brief Look Of Real Madrid’s Performance This Season:

Real Madrid goalkeeper defended his teammate, and says sometimes when team is not playing well it is the job of the fans to get their side up, rather than jeering and discourage them.  Keylor Navas further clarified that  Cristiano Ronaldo is the passionate player and every-time  he gives 100 percent for the team, and has backed Portugal captain to win Ballon’ or in the January.

With  Rafael Benitez is facing uncertain future, there are doubts whether Real Madrid will be able to challenge for the titles this season, however  Keylor Navas is confident that  Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid will have successful campaign.

“We are fully aware of the challenges that face us. We’re doing great work on a daily basis.

“While it might be true that in some matches that great work hasn’t come across, I’m certain we’re on the right track and that at the end of the season our fans will feel extremely proud of all of us who train on daily basis on valdebebas.

“The work we are doing is truly excellent.”

Madrid are also in the Champions League last 16 and will face Roma in February and March next year.

“The expectation is that we will be fighting for everything, and I’m certain Real Madrid will do that,” he said.

“We are a great big family with one sole objective: to win.”
