Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Kieran Gibbs and Jack Wilshere face anxious waits as Arsenal mull over their futures at the Emirates, according to Daily Mail.

Unlike Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, who Arsenal are keen to tie down to new contracts, the struggling English trio futures appear less certain.

All three have entered the final two years of their contracts with the Gunners and the Mail claim there is less urgency in entering negotiations.

As such, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Gibbs and Wilshere could find themselves in a situation where they enter the final 12 months of their current deals with their future up in the air.

None of the trio has progressed in the way Arsene Wenger once hoped. And although injuries are largely responsible there are also increasing question marks about their willingness to knuckle down and work on the flaws in their game.

Wilshere has been farmed out to Bournemouth for the season on loan and though Oxlade-Chamberlain started Arsenal’s Champions League tie with Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday it was another disappointing display that ended with his second-half substitution.
