Though she is yet to officially confirm it, the news of Linda Ikeji’s engagement to a mysterious person has continued to do the rounds on the internet all day as Nigerians are reacting to the good news in different ways.

The attention of internet users was beamed on the 37-year-old celebrity blogger and media entrepreneur on Tuesday, March 27, after it was reported that she has reunited with an ex-boyfriend who has just returned to the country after being away for a while.

The news of Linda’s engagement was also confirmed by her sister, Sandra Ikeji, on her Instagram page.

Sandra wrote: ”Congratulations @officiallindaikeji So happy for you sweet sis! This tells me that sometimes the wait is worth it.

”Can’t wait to plan your special day!@eventsbysi are you readyyyyyy? #it’sagetaway.”

Her other sister, Laura Ikeji, who is also an ardent Instagram user, took to her own page, to congratulate Linda.

The news was given the much needed currency as popular Actress, Toyin Abraham, took to her Instagram page to write:

 

“Congratulations to our very own Linda Ikeji for ticking one of the important boxes every woman has piled up on her list; as she got engaged to her heartthrob! As soon as the information hit the internet, it became a hot topic for social media users, as friends and well wishers were quick to send in their best words of congratulations to Linda Ikeji.

Bear in mind that before now, the 37 year old has been under pressure from fans to get married, including memes linking her to Don Jazzy, MAVINS record boss.

However, in the wake of the news, the music mogul – real name – Michael Collins Ajereh, has showed his dismay at being left out now that Banky W is truly married and Linda Ikeji just got engaged – knowing well that the trio had been subject of most marriage jokes on the internet.

Don Jazzy, who may also have been crushing on the famous blogger, excited his fans after he posted a picture on his Instagram page where he was being consoled by some friends over his dashed dreams of making Linda his `wife’.

He also wrote with a crying emoji’s: Kai Linda is engaged.. It is finished.’’
